Mark Globally


While most are being optimistic and are relishing the new found glory, others are cautious. Says Santosh Desai, “India making a mark globally? I think it is over-rated. I don’t want to rain on that parade. Let’s not mistake what is a reaction to a repression of the past, with a sign of our coming domination of the world.” If in the early and mid 90s, MNCs sold western concepts to the country (which mostly flopped), then today, ads made by Indian powerhouses are being customized for the foreign soil.
